Abstract
Transmitter circuits and methods configure an electromechanical matching network to provide an electromechanical matching signal having a center frequency and a plurality of non-center frequencies in response to a drive signal from a drive circuit. An energy recovery signal is extracted from the electromechanical matching signal, the energy recovery signal representing at least one non-center frequency from the plurality of non-center frequencies. The energy recovery signal is used to supply a recovered voltage signal to a drive circuit that provides the drive signal. A transmitter terminal provides an impedance matched signal having the center frequency that resonates a load at the resonant frequency. The impedance matched signal represents the electromechanical matching signal excluding the energy recovery signal.
