Abstract

A stator assembly () for an axial flux motor () with a rotation axis (). The stator assembly () has a stator receptacle portion () of a motor housing () of the axial flux motor (), a stator () and a potting body (). The stator receptacle portion () defines a disk-shaped contact face () for receiving the stator. The stator () is disposed on the disk-shaped contact face (). The stator () is potted in the stator receptacle portion (). The potting body () is connected to the stator receptacle portion () in a form-fitting manner in such a way that the stator () in the stator receptacle portion () is secured by the potting body () at least in the axial direction ().
