Abstract
A system and method for reducing harmonic interference from static metasurface unit cell arrays extending radiofrequency signal in a radiofrequency environment includes a plurality of static metasurface unit cell arrays operatively coupled to surface of information handling systems in the radiofrequency environment. The static metasurface unit cell array includes a plurality of subsections of metasurface unit cells of the static metasurface unit cell array to redirect incoming electromagnetic (EM) signals in a plurality of directional lobes, and a plurality of second order harmonics metasurface unit cell absorber subsections to absorb second order harmonic EM signals and a plurality of third order harmonics metasurface unit cell absorber subsections formed proximate to the plurality of redirecting subsections of metasurface unit cells of the static metasurface unit cell array to absorb second and third order harmonic EM signals formed from redirection of EM signals in the plurality of directional lobes.
