Abstract
Systems and methods for managing client IHS access to components of a modular Artificial Intelligence (AI) appliance are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an AI appliance may include: a floor module comprising an AI accelerator; and a base module coupled to the floor module, the base module having a Systems-on-Chip (SoC) and a memory coupled to, or integrated into, the SoC, where the memory includes program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the SoC, cause the SoC to: establish a connection with a client IHS via a local port; and control the client IHS's access to an AI accelerator.
