Abstract
A method for reconstructing images using a self-calibrated subspace reconstruction includes receiving data acquired from a subject using a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system, generating aliasing-free low resolution images from at least a portion of the received data using temporally local low-rank matrix completion, estimating a temporally global subspace using the aliasing-free low resolution images, and generating aliasing-free high resolution images from the received data using temporally global subspace reconstruction that utilizes the estimated temporally global subspace. In some embodiments, a customized outlier detection algorithm can then be used to detect measurement errors in the aliasing-free high resolution images and to correct the aliasing-free high resolution images. Aliasing-free T, T, and ADC maps may be generated after comparing the corrected aliasing free high resolution images with a dictionary.
