Abstract

A route planning system is disclosed. The system may include a memory, a transceiver and a processor. The memory may store historical information associated with counts of users of interest in a geographical area. The transceiver may receive user inputs and information associated with counts of interface locations in the geographical area. The processor may determine a set of potential routes between source and destination locations based on the user inputs. The processor may further estimate counts of users of interest and interface locations in each potential route based on the historical information and the information associated with the counts of interface locations. The processor may further calculate a route score for each potential route based on the counts of users of interest and interface locations in each potential route. The processor may further determine and output a recommended route based on the route score and the user inputs.
