Abstract
A tube insert assembly for a gas turbine engine is provided. The tube insert assembly includes a receptacle base disposed on a static structure of the gas turbine engine. The receptacle base has a mounting flange and a bore extending through the receptacle base. A top surface of the mounting flange includes an asymmetrical recess disposed around the bore. The tube insert assembly also includes a tubular insert having a tube and an asymmetrical flange disposed around a circumference of the tube. The asymmetrical flange is disposed within the asymmetrical recess of the mounting flange and the tube is disposed within the bore of the receptacle base.
