Abstract
A washing machine may include: a housing; a tub inside the housing; a drawer case in the housing and including an inlet and outlet through which water is flowable; a drawer insertable into, and withdrawable from, the drawer case, and configured to receive a detergent; a filter detachably mountable in the drawer and configured so that, with the filter mounted in the drawer and the drawer inserted into the drawer case, water that flows into the drawer case through the inlet passes through the filter and then flows out through the outlet; a circulation pipe to guide, to the tub, water that flows out of the outlet; a drain pipe to guide, to an outside of the housing, water that flows out of the outlet; and a flow path switching device configured to flow the water that flows out of the drawer case into the circulation and/or drain pipe.
