Abstract
A transport vehicle of the present invention includes; a container group support section that supports a container group, which includes containers in a stacked state, in a predetermined stacking region; a lifting device-that lifts a container in the container group supported by the container group support section; and a transfer device that transfers a container. The lifting device includes: a first lifting mechanism that lifts a container, which is at a desired height in the container group stacked in the stacking region, relative to the container adjacent therebelow; and a second lifting mechanism that lifts a container, which is below the container lifted by the first lifting mechanism, relative to the container therebelow.
