Abstract
A liquid discharge apparatus includes a first head, a second head, and a third head. The first head discharges a color ink onto a transfer substrate. The second head discharges a pretreatment liquid including a coagulant onto the transfer substrate onto which the color ink has been discharged by the first head. The third head discharges a white ink onto the transfer substrate onto which the pretreatment liquid has been discharged by the second head.
