Abstract
A concentrate composition useful as a pearlising agent for adding directly at ambient temperature to liquid chemical formulations such as personal cleaning formulations, laundry detergents, dishwashing detergents and hard surface cleaning compositions and comprising (a) at least 10 wt % of a glycol ester of a fatty acid; (b) at least one acyl alkyl isethionate surfactant of formula (I), having the chemical structure: wherein Rrepresents an optionally substituted C-Chydrocarbyl group, each of R, R, Rand Rindependently represents hydrogen or a C-Calkyl group, and wherein at least one of R, R, Rand Ris not hydrogen and Mrepresents a cation; and (c) at least one zwitterionic or amphoteric surfactant.
