Abstract
A retail display assembly includes a base cabinet and a drawer. The base cabinet includes a top panel and a front opening. The drawer includes a front panel and top opening and is configured to transition between closed and open positions. The top panel of the base cabinet includes through holes to receive downwardly extending threaded rods of security brackets to selectively secure portable electronic devices to the top panel of the base cabinet. The top opening of the drawer and an underside of the top panel of the base cabinet are accessible when the drawer is in the open position, and are inaccessible when the drawer is in the closed position. The retail display assembly is usable as a topper when the base cabinet is supported by a lower cabinet, and as a cantilever shelf when the base cabinet is supported by shelf brackets attached to vertical uprights.
