Abstract
A backboard structure includes an array substrate, a passivation layer, a planarization layer, a padding portion, a pixel definition layer, and a cathode layer. The passivation layer is formed on the array substrate and covering an auxiliary electrode layer on the array substrate. A hole is formed through the passivation layer at a position corresponding to the auxiliary electrode layer. The padding portion is formed on an inner wall of the hole and covering a portion of the auxiliary electrode layer. The pixel definition layer is formed on the planarization layer and includes an extension section covering the inner wall of the hole. The extension section surrounds to form an overlapping hole, and extends towards the padding portion to form a drilling structure. A continuous overlap section of the cathode layer is overlapped with the auxiliary electrode layer through the overlapping hole and the drilling structure.
