Abstract
A method and system of automatically transitioning management of a communication session from a voice-based interface to a video-based interface is disclosed. The system identifies whether the user has provided an input to an interactive voice response (IVR) system that indicates their intention of submitting data that is visual. This context will be used by an artificial intelligence (AI) system to determine if there should be a switch made from the IVR system to a video-call medium. In some examples, once the switch has occurred, the AI system can also grade the image quality of the received video data and generate feedback to the user to ensure submission of images with acceptable quality.
