Abstract
A conductor joint for connecting a conductor end of a first cable with a conductor end of a second cable. The conductor joint has a tubular longitudinal sleeve having a sleeve opening at each longitudinal end with an inner diameter allowing insertion of the conductor ends to be connected. An elongated element is arranged within the sleeve openings. The elongated element has an electrically conductive core rod having a terminal rod wall at each longitudinal end. The first cable is electrically connected to the second cable via the electrically conductive core rod that substantially fills the space between the opposed conductor ends.
