Abstract
A battery storage apparatus includes: a storage portion that includes an opening through which a battery is insertable, a storage space detachably storing the battery inserted through the opening; a storage portion terminal positionally fixed relative to the storage portion and connectable to a battery terminal through contact; a portable portion supporting the battery and movable with respect to the storage portion between a connection position where the storage portion terminal and the battery terminal are connected and a disconnection position where the storage portion terminal and the battery terminal are disconnected; and a restricting portion that releasably restricts movement of the portable portion from the disconnection position toward the connection position.
