Abstract
A method of performing a vehicle ADAS calibration test with a vehicle diagnostic computer tool. The diagnostic tool is communicatively coupled to an electronic system of a vehicle. The vehicle is positioned relative to an ADAS target stand for testing a calibration of a vehicle sensor on the vehicle. The ADAS target stand is configured to support an ADAS target for use in testing the calibration of the vehicle sensor in a known position relative to a vehicle, such as according to manufacturer specifications. The method includes receiving with the diagnostic tool data from the electronic system of the vehicle, such as representative of a selected ADAS sensor of the vehicle. The diagnostic tool is used to confirm that the selected ADAS sensor of the vehicle is correctly calibrated as defined by the data and the specified location of the ADAS target. The calibration data comprises a location of the ADAS target as detected by the ADAS sensor.
