Abstract
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to executing scalable, atomic data updates in a non-relational database. Aspects include receiving a tree-structured query with one or more placeholders, the tree-structured query representing relationships between multiple database objects in the non-relational database. Aspects include parsing one or more input data files from a storage location. Aspects include generating a resolved query by dynamically replacing the one or more placeholders in the tree-structured query with one or values based on data determined from the parsing of the one or more input data files and based on the relationships in the tree-structured query. Aspects include combining operations for related objects of the multiple database objects into a single atomic transaction based on the resolved query. Aspects include executing the single atomic transaction against the non-relational database.
