Abstract
Provided is a storage device including a memory, a plurality of non-volatile memories (NVMs), and a controller. The plurality of non-volatile memories have an access speed which is slower than that of the memory. The controller is configured to control a first data input/output operation with a host device using the plurality of NVMs, based on a first map table in the memory, in a first mode, and control a second data input/output operation with the host device, based on a second map table in the memory, in a second mode. The storage device is configured to switch between the first and second modes. The first map table includes physical addresses of the plurality of NVMs for accessing first data corresponding to the first data input/output operation. The second map table includes physical addresses of the first memory for accessing second data corresponding to the second data input/output operation.
