Abstract
A bandgap reference voltage generation device includes at least one proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) current generator, a bandgap reference voltage generation circuit, and a current compensator. The PTAT current generator generates a first proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) current. The bandgap reference voltage generation circuit generates a second proportional to absolute temperature (PTAT) current whose positive temperature coefficient is different from the positive temperature coefficient of the first PTAT current. The current compensator is coupled to the PTAT current generator and the bandgap reference voltage generation circuit. The current compensator retrieves the first PTAT current and the second PTAT current, performs subtraction and addition on the first PTAT current and the second PTAT current to generate a compensation current, and transmits the compensation current to the bandgap reference voltage generation circuit to generate a zero temperature coefficient voltage.
