Abstract
A cartridge includes a toner accommodating portion provided with an opening through which the toner is received, a shutter rotatable about a rotational axis between a closed position where the shutter closes the opening and an open position where the shutter opens the opening, and a restricting member which includes a first engaging portion extending toward the shutter on a second end portion side of the shutter opposite from a first end portion side of the shutter with respect to a direction of the rotational axis. The restricting member includes a second engaging portion engageable with the shutter so that when the shutter is in the closed position, relative movement of the restricting member to the shutter in a direction from the first end portion toward the second end portion is restricted.
