Abstract
An optical lens and varifocals include a first transparent substrate and a zoom assembly. The zoom assembly comprises a first piezoelectric assembly and a second piezoelectric assembly, wherein an air layer is formed between the second piezoelectric assembly and the first transparent substrate. Additionally, a space is defined between the second piezoelectric assembly and the first piezoelectric assembly, and this space is filled with a transparent liquid, thereby forming a liquid layer. When the voltages applied to the first piezoelectric assembly and the second piezoelectric assembly are varied, both piezoelectric assemblies undergo deformation, resulting in changes to the surface curvatures of the liquid layer and the air layer.
