Abstract
A trigger, including a shell, and a DoD material, and an e match in contact with the DoD material. A trigger including a first DoD material disposed as a load support, a second DoD material about the load support, and an e-match in contact with the DoD. A downhole tool, including a housing, first and second conduits, a plug member disposed between the first and second conduits and biased to a position that allows flow past the plug member, and a trigger disposed to hold the plug member in a position that denies flow past the plug member, the trigger comprising a DoD material. A downhole tool, including a housing, a piston, and a trigger on the piston within an inlet chamber of the housing, the trigger reducing a piston area of the piston to an area smaller than the full piston area defined by the piston.
