Abstract

First and second vehicles can include respective first and second computers. Upon detecting a fault for a lamp of the first vehicle, and responsive to determining a difference between a perceived dimension of the first vehicle and the actual dimension of the first vehicle, the first vehicle computer can actuate one or more components of the first vehicle to communicate with the second vehicle. Upon detecting the fault for the lamp of the first vehicle, the second vehicle computer can determine an actual dimension of the first vehicle based on data from the first vehicle. Responsive to the difference between the perceived dimension of the first vehicle and the actual dimension of the first vehicle, the second vehicle computer can actuate one or more components of the second vehicle.
