Abstract

An electric vehicle charging control device includes an electronic dynamic charging schedule generator, a non-transitory computer readable medium and an electronic communicator. The charging schedule generator has an electronic controller configured to determine when an electric vehicle user accesses a charging port provided at a building structure powered by an electric source. The non-transitory computer readable medium stores vehicle profile data for the electric vehicle. The electronic communicator is configured to receive profile updates to the vehicle profile data from an electronic user interface. The electronic controller is programmed to generate a charging schedule based on the vehicle profile data. The charging schedule has a charge period in which the electric vehicle is receiving charge from the building structure and a discharge period in which the electric vehicle is providing charge to the building structure. The electronic controller controls the charging port in accordance with the charging schedule.
