Abstract

A method, system, and robot assembly for automated inspection of structures and mold remediation. The embodiments are configured to allow for the deployment of a mold remediation robot assembly into a building. The mold remediation robot assembly includes a self-cleaning system for detecting when the onboard mold sensor has accumulated excessive amounts of mold that requires cleaning. In response, a self-cleaning operation can be performed to ensure the mold sensor remains unobstructed by mold particles.
