Abstract
A ventilation device for an at least supportive artificial ventilation of patients including a device housing, a functional assembly, which is received in the device housing in an operational position and which has at least one controller as a functional unit, and an input/output device which is arranged on the device housing in an assembly position, the input/output device is connected to the controller through an opening in the device housing so as to transmit signals, and the input/output device is secured directly to the functional assembly so as to prevent removal of the input/output device from its assembly position away from the device housing in a lifting direction.
