Abstract
A commissioning and configuration for a lighting control system of a building environment comprises a mobile device and a directional device. The directional device directs a directional link to a select sensor device. The select sensor device is either a first sensor device or a second sensor device located in a particular area of the building environment. The mobile device connects to the first sensor device via a wireless communication link, receives a response message from the select sensor device via the wireless communication link in response to the directional device directing the directional link to the select sensor device. The mobile device associates the select sensor device with a device group corresponding to the particular area based on the response message. The mobile device configures a communication and operational parameter for a sensor network including the sensor devices as a group.
