Abstract

A base station in a network system is provided. The base station includes a reception unit configured to receive a first reference signal from a terminal via a first non-terrestrial communication device; and a transmission unit configured to transmit, to a location management function (LMF), information related to a propagation delay of the first reference signal and information related to a reception timing of the first reference signal.
