Abstract
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment may receive a signal in an automatic gain control resource and may receive a physical sidelink feedback channel message based on a gain for reception of the first physical sidelink feedback channel message, where the gain is based on receiving the signal. In some aspects, the first physical sidelink feedback channel message may be one of a set of physical sidelink feedback channel messages time-division multiplexed over a set of contiguous time resources. Additionally, or alternatively, the user equipment may receive a sidelink message after receiving the physical sidelink feedback channel message using a second gain, where the second gain is based on receiving a second signal in a second automatic gain control resource that occurs before the first automatic gain control resource.
