Abstract
Methods and systems are described for deriving slice-based reselection priorities. Embodiments can select a frequency that supports one or more network slices. Methods can include obtaining reselection priorities for each frequency on which a user equipment may camp, obtaining a slice priority for one or more prioritized slices and deriving slice-based reselection priorities for all frequencies with reselection priorities. A cell search can then be performed according to the slice-based reselection priorities.
