Abstract
A management server system may obtain input identifying a camera from a plurality of cameras and an operation to be performed by the camera. The management server system may identify a camera type of the camera. Using a translation table, the management server system may identify a manner of translating the operation for the camera. The translation table may link a manner of translating for each operation of a plurality of operations to each camera of a plurality of cameras. Based on the manner of translating the operation, the management server system can generate a translated operation. The translated operation may be generated according to a protocol of the camera. The management server system may provide the translated operation to the camera to cause performance of an action.
