Abstract
A User Equipment (UE) configured for non-overlapping Sub-Band Full Duplex (SBFD) operation communicates during SBFD symbols that are non-overlapping in time. Each of the SBFD symbols comprise at least a DL subband and an UL subband within a TDD carrier within a BWP. To communicate during the SBFD symbols, the UE transmits uplink transmissions only within resource blocks (RBs) that are both in an active UL BWP configured to the UE and the UL subband of one of the SBFD symbols and receives downlink transmissions only within RBs that are both in an active DL BWP configured to the UE and in the DL subband of one of the SBFD symbols. The uplink transmissions during the SBFD symbols are transmitted with a timing-advance offset to adjust advancement in initiation of the uplink transmission relative to DL symbol timing at the UE within an SBFD symbol.
