Abstract
A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station (BS) configured to support activation of a secondary cell (SCell), a request to provide a measurement report. In response to the request, the UE may perform one or more measurements on the SCell using one or more reference signals (RSs). Additionally or alternatively, the UE may generate the measurement report based on the one or more measurements and further transmit the measurement report to the BS. In some embodiments, the UE may further determine a pathloss estimation based on the one or more measurements.
