Abstract

A wireless power system has a wireless power transmitting device and a wireless power receiving device. The wireless power transmitting device may include a coil and wireless power transmitting circuitry coupled to the coil. The wireless power receiving device may include a coil that is configured to receive wireless power signals from the wireless power transmitting device and rectifier circuitry that is configured to convert the wireless power signals to direct current power. One or more shielding structures may be incorporated into the wireless power transmitting device. One or more shielding structures may be positioned over a magnetic alignment structure in the wireless power transmitting device, between a magnetic alignment structure and a magnetic core in the wireless power transmitting device, and/or on an interior surface of a plastic enclosure in the wireless power transmitting device.
