Abstract
A display device senses a driving current of each of pixels to determine a temperature of a display panel, and performs a stain compensation based on the temperature of the display panel. The display device determines whether the display panel has transitioned from a first deterioration state to a second deterioration state and an average grayscale of input image data is less than a grayscale threshold value, such that the display device reduces a sensing period of the sensing current.
