Abstract
Provided is a method for managing a transaction with a card allocated to a user comprising establishing a first communication link between the card and a terminal, receiving by the card, a transaction command comprising a parameter specific to the transaction, and, in response to detecting a preset event, turning on an internal battery embedded in the card, using power provided by said internal battery to send the parameter to a portable apparatus distinct from the terminal through a wireless communication channel, then turning off the internal battery, and in response to receipt of the parameter, providing the user with the parameter by the portable apparatus.
