Abstract

A pigmented free radical curable inkjet ink for manufacturing decorated natural leather including a polymerizable composition monofunctional polyfunctional polymerizable compounds fulfilling the following requirements A to E: A) 65.0 to 95.0 wt % of monofunctional polymerizable compounds with the wt % based on the total weight of the polymerizable composition; B) the polymerizable composition includes a monofunctional acrylate; C) 8.0 to 25.0 wt % of N-vinyl methyl oxazolidinone based on the total weight of the UV curable inkjet ink; D) 3.0 to 30.0 wt % of a polyethyleneglycol diacrylate based on the total weight of the UV curable inkjet ink; E) the polyethyleneglycol diacrylate has a molecular weight MW between 350 and 750; and F) the polyfunctional polymerizable compounds contain the polyethyleneglycol diacrylate in an amount of 60 to 100 wt % based on the total weight of the polyfunctional polymerizable compounds.
