The adhesive layer(s) may be disposed to fill the openings, thereby enabling electrical conduction from the electrode contacts to tissue regions of the wearer. A device-facing surface of the adhesive layer(s) may be configured to releasably adhere to surface(s) of the stimulation device including the electrode contacts, and a skin-facing surface of the adhesive layer(s) may be configured to releasably adhere to the tissue regions of the wearer.
