Abstract

An isolation enclosure for isolating a human in the surrounding area of a bed with a mattress laid on its frame, allowing the human to move freely within the isolation chamber that extends above the bed frame. The canopy forms a sealed isolation chamber against external air, equipped with wheels, casters, sliders, etc., for transporting the support frame, canopy, and bed, thereby transferring the patient on the bed within the isolation chamber. The environmental control device can be connected to the isolation chamber, featuring a filter for filtering at least one of the incoming air to the isolation chamber and the outgoing air from the isolation chamber, and a pump for performing at least one of the operations of sending air into the isolation chamber to increase the pressure inside the chamber above the external air pressure, and extracting air to lower the pressure inside the chamber below the external air pressure.
