Abstract

Provided is a medical appliance with which it is possible to improve usability in relation to a fixing operation and an unfixing operation of a bendable portion. A disk of which an outer peripheral surface is provided with a serrated portion is provided to be integrally rotatable with a sprocket, a plunger that is transitionable between a locking position where a locking portion is locked at the serrated portion and a non-locking position where the locking portion is not locked at the serrated portion is provided, and a switching operation portion is rotated around a longitudinal axis of an operation portion so that the plunger selectively switches between the locking position and the non-locking position.
