In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may establish a sidelink with a second UE using at least a set of reference sidelink configuration parameters. The UE may update the sidelink using a set of location-based delta sidelink configuration parameters that are based at least in part on a sidelink location that includes at least one of: a first location of the first UE, or a second location of the second UE. Numerous other aspects are described.
