Abstract
In an aspect, a target sidelink user equipment may obtain at least one quality classification indication for each sidelink (SL) anchor device of a plurality of SL anchor devices for a positioning session, wherein the at least one quality classification indication is based on a quality of synchronization of the SL anchor device, a quality of timing of the SL anchor device, a quality of a position estimate for a location of the SL anchor device, or any combination thereof. The target sidelink user equipment may engage in the positioning session with or using one or more SL anchor devices of the plurality of SL anchor devices, wherein the one or more SL anchor devices are selected for the positioning session based on the at least one quality classification indication associated with each of the one or more SL anchor devices.
