Abstract
A method and apparatus for communication by a user equipment, the method comprising receiving a configuration of a plurality of cell wake up signaling occasions in which the user equipment can transmit cell wake up signaling to a network entity, whereby each of the plurality of cell wake up signaling occasions is associated with at least one function, and wherein each of the plurality of cell wake up signaling occasions has an associated periodicity, and transmitting cell wake up signaling to the network entity during one or more of the plurality of cell wake up signaling occasions, using the received configuration.
