Abstract
An image decoding/encoding method and device disclosed herein can: acquire prediction samples of the current block; determine a reference area for the current block on the basis of one of a plurality of modes pre-defined in the decoding/encoding device; derive parameters for correcting the prediction samples of the current block, the parameters being derived on the basis of the reference area for the current block; and correct the prediction samples of the current block on the basis of the parameters.
