Abstract

Provided is a decoding apparatus that includes a reception unit, a first storage unit, a second storage unit, and a decoding unit. The reception unit receives a plurality of pieces of encoded data generated by encoding a plurality of pieces of frame data to be wirelessly transmitted, and identification information being assigned to each of the plurality of pieces of frame data. The first storage unit stores each of the received plurality of pieces of encoded data in a predetermined storage area. The second storage unit stores, on a basis of the identification information corresponding to each of the plurality of pieces of encoded data, an address of the storage area of the first storage unit. The decoding unit reads the encoded data from the first storage unit on a basis of the stored address, and decodes the read encoded data.
