Abstract
A display device and an image display apparatus including the same are disclosed. The display device includes: light emitting diodes; first switching drivers to supply scan signal or voltage of first level to anodes of the light emitting diodes for first line during display mode period; second switching drivers to supply voltage of second level less than the first level to cathodes of the light emitting diodes for second line during the display mode period; a first switch to output and not output the scan signal or the voltage of the first level during the display mode period and a sensing mode period, respectively; a second switch to output current flowing based on pointer light during the sensing mode period; and an amplifier to amplify difference between first and second line voltage based on the current. Accordingly, the pointer light can be stably sensed without a separate optical sensor.
