Abstract

Labels have visible color holographic quick responseCHQR) faces and hidden coded radio frequency (RF) antennas on their rear surfaces. RF coding provides evidence of tampering and adds active bi-directional flow of information between the label and label readers. RFCHQR labels provide authentication and update information in memory slots.
