Abstract

A device for reducing a vibration of a vehicle component of a vehicle, the vehicle comprising at least one electric drive machine. The device is designed to determine vibration data relating to the vibration of the vehicle component and, based on the vibration data, to determine a compensation torque in order to reduce the vibration of the vehicle component. The device is also designed to cause the drive machine to provide a total torque which comprises a driving mode torque which is to be provided for the driving mode of the vehicle and which is overlaid with the compensation torque.
