Abstract

Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for operating a vehicle with a mixed-use setting. A route management system provides for determining that a mixed-use setting has been enabled for a vehicle, the mixed-use setting allowing the vehicle to operate in one of two vehicle regulation modes comprising a first vehicle regulation mode and a second vehicle regulation mode; detecting a condition associating with switching between the two vehicle regulation modes of the vehicle; in response to detecting the condition, switching from operating the vehicle in the first vehicle regulation mode to operating the vehicle in the second vehicle regulation mode; and storing an annotation representing the condition for switching from operating the vehicle in the first vehicle regulation mode to operating the vehicle in the second vehicle regulation mode.
